Story
Moult, from the Latin multum: plenty.
Plenty of bottles opened, plenty of conversations, plenty of evenings that stretch out. The name promises nothing more than generosity.

Rue du Pontin is a lane in the old town of Nice: no cars, cool shade and a view of the dome of Sainte-Réparate cathedral. Moult holds a colourful facade and a handful of seats there.
The house is a bar, a kitchen and a bottle shop at once: drink in, take a bottle away, come back tomorrow. The selection runs from southern French growers to the tenser cuvées of the Jura and the Loire — organic, natural, in small quantities and always found with care.
In the kitchen, the same logic: whatever the season allows ends up on the plates. Few ingredients, plenty of olive oil and a menu that moves every week.
Living wines
Organic and natural cuvées, chosen bottle by bottle.
Local produce
Seasonal, local cooking. The menu is rewritten as deliveries arrive.
No ceremony
We explain, we pour tastes, we judge no one. Wine is still a drink.
By the glass
Always a bottle open
A by-the-glass selection that changes regularly, and a wider cellar by the bottle. Tell us what you like — or what you don't, that is often more useful.
